Traveling to Palau during the Pandemic

Covid19 Requirements

Palau has had relatively low numbers of Covid-19 cases this far

Meanwhile, great efforts have been made to get the majority of the population fully vaccinated, and currently, over 97% of the adult population has had their second vaccination dose, reaching herd immunity. Boosters are being administered at the moment

However, despite the great results, new varieties of the virus are still forming a threat.

Due to the Pandemic, new measurements have been taken at the airport, and the rules for arriving into the Republic are very strict.

Please make sure all requirements are met, and all paperwork has been filed in a timely manner, with all permits approved prior to departure. Failing to do so might result in refusal to land.

Please make sure all PCR tests as well as Vaccination cards have been send and approved by the Ministry of Health in Palau.

Without these approvals, Entry Permits will not be released

Note: All Vaccination Cards must be send 96 hrs ahead of arrival. Negative PCR/Anti-gen test needs to be taken and proof send within 24 hrs prior to arrival. This leaves a tiny window in some cases.

Please be vigilant with these requirements

Prevention

Herd immunity does not mean the virus cannot spread: caution should still be taken, wash your hands, wear a mask, and keep your social distancing.
